MapMetrics is proud to be part of this phase, allowing our community to participate in a campaign that connects real-world activity with the Web3 ecosystem in new and powerful ways.

Season 2 comes with upgrades compared with Season 1, promising a smoother and more engaging experience for everyone who joins.

Getting Started: Your Account and Wallet

For those who participated in the first season, your account on the peaq portal remains the same. If your email does not match the one used for MapMetrics, you will need to update it now to ensure everything syncs correctly.

Creating an account in the portal is simple. You only need to connect your MetaMask wallet or another supported wallet. Once connected, navigate within the peaq portal to access the Get Real campaign and start your journey.

Completing Quests and Contributing

In Get Real S2, participation revolves around completing quests. These quests are tied directly to your driving, mapping, and other in-app contributions. Completing quests gives you XP, which is used to track your progress and climb the leaderboard.

Here’s how it works:

Connect – Link your MetaMask wallet to the peaq portal to create an account, and make sure to use the same email as in MapMetrics to ensure your MapMetrics account is synced.

Contribute – Complete MapMetrics quests. Each quest contributes to your XP and helps you climb the leaderboard.

Claim – At the end of the season, claim your rewards directly through the peaq portal.

This approach ensures that every action you take contributes to both your in-app milestones and your position in the broader Get Real campaign.

XP and Leaderboard

Every completed quest adds XP, which determines your rank on the leaderboard. The higher you climb, the greater your chances of unlocking seasonal rewards from the $PEAQ pool.

Alongside the campaign, your regular MapMetrics activity also earns you VAULT tokens. These tokens act as lottery-style entries for $MMAP and other surprises. The more VAULT tokens you collect, the greater your chances of winning beyond your standard in-app rewards. This makes driving and mapping with MapMetrics even more rewarding, working in parallel with your campaign progress.

Unlocking Rewards

Through your quests, you will continue to collect Campaign XP within the peaq portal while earning VAULT tokens directly through MapMetrics.

Campaign XP drives your position on the Get Real leaderboard and unlocks $PEAQ-based rewards, while VAULT tokens boost your chances of securing $MMAP through a lottery-style system unique to MapMetrics.

Together, this creates two layers of value: one tied to the Get Real campaign and one native to the MapMetrics ecosystem.

An Improved Experience

This season has been improved compared with the last one, with refinements made across the board to deliver a stronger campaign. Get Real S2 is designed to make the process more engaging, smoother, and rewarding for everyone involved.

A Living Campaign

The campaign will continue to be adjusted and optimized as it progresses. Quests, flow, and user experience will be continually refined along the way to keep things fresh and create a memorable experience for the MapMetrics community.

Final Note

Get Real Season 2 is in motion. MapMetrics is ready, and our community is part of it. This is your chance to participate in a campaign that connects your daily driving with the future of Web3, rewards your activity on multiple levels, and places you right at the center of the peaq ecosystem.

Good luck to everyone taking part. Let’s make this season unforgettable.

The wait is over. peaq’s Get Real Season 2 is now underway, and this time it’s bigger, sharper, and more rewarding than before.
