iOS Updates

• Enhanced User Location Tracking: We’ve fine-tuned user location tracking, improving its accuracy and reliability. This update ensures that your position is now even more precise, giving you better navigation guidance whether you’re in urban areas or off the beaten path.
• Speed Camera Setting Update: The speed camera feature has been updated in the app’s settings. You’ll now have more accurate notifications about speed limits and camera zones, making it easier to stay compliant on the road and avoid tickets.
• Device ID Centralization: We’ve centralized device IDs, which help streamline backend processes and improve the overall system performance. This will make the app faster and more efficient during your drives.
• In-App Sound Option Fix: We’ve resolved an issue with the sound options in settings. Now you can fully control the in-app audio without any hitches, ensuring you never miss important alerts while navigating.
• Firebase Push Notifications: Push notifications are now fully integrated and tested. You’ll receive real-time notifications, keeping you updated with critical information, tips, and any important alerts directly from the app.

Android Updates and new features

• Resolved Firebase Crash Issues: We’ve tackled and fixed several issues related to Firebase crashes, significantly improving the app’s stability and minimizing interruptions during use. Now, your navigation should be smoother and more reliable.
• Social Media Login Integration: We’re currently working on integrating social media logins, allowing you to access the app with ease by connecting your favorite social platforms. This will streamline the login process and get you started on your routes faster.
• Gas Station Popup Feature: A new gas station popup feature is now live, helping you locate nearby stations while on your route. This addition will ensure you never have to worry about running out of fuel when navigating with MapMetrics.
• Currency Display for Gas Stations: In addition to gas station popups, we’re rolling out currency displays based on your location. Gas prices will now show in your local currency, making it easier to refuel when driving in different countries.
